Lebenslauf & Forschung

Geboren 1982.
Grund- und Hauptstudium an der Hebrew University, danach
mehrjähriges Jeschiwa-Studium. Wurde 2017 in die Harvard Society of Fellows
gewählt. Derzeit Lehrstuhl für Hebräische Bibel und Exegese an der
Universität Potsdam.
Dershowitz' Arbeiten sind in JBL, VT, ZAW und der New York Times
erschienen, und er ist Autor zweier Bücher:
The Dismembered Bible: Cutting and Pasting Scripture in Antiquity (Mohr Siebeck, 2021)
The Valediction of Moses: A Proto-Biblical Book (Mohr Siebeck, 2021)
Dershowitz untersucht derzeit die Kompositionsgeschichte des Deuteronomiums und des Priesterkorpus.
