Abraham J. Heschel Seminary for Conservative Rabbinical Training
The Abraham J. Heschel Seminary is the newest member of the international association of Conservative and Masorti rabbinical schools. Although the seminary is new in terms of its structure, its roots go back to 2010. The curriculum of the Heschel Seminary is carefully developed in close collaboration with the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies at the American Jewish University in Los Angeles. Graduates of the program are admitted to the Rabbinical Assembly, the international association of Conservative and Masorti rabbis.
In addition to their training in Germany, students also spend a year studying in Israel at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem and participate in monthly seminars with American rabbis as well as internships in congregations across Europe.
