The Nathan Peter Levinson Foundation

The Nathan Peter Levinson Foundation was established in 2024 with the goal of bringing academic excellence and transparency to the training of a new generation of liberal (Reform) and conservative (Masorti) rabbis and cantors in Germany. The foundation equally and jointly unites three seminaries: the Abraham J. Heschel Seminary for Conservative Rabbinical Training, the Regina Jonas Seminary for Liberal Rabbinical Training, and the Louis Lewandowski Seminary for Cantorial Training.
Studies at the foundation’s seminaries are integrated with the BA and MA programs at the School of Jewish Theology at the University of Potsdam. The educational programs of the Levinson Foundation are carried out in cooperation with national and international partners.
