Short Academic Biography
Tomer Raudanski received his BA in History and Philosophy from Tel Aviv University (Israel). He completed his Magister degree in Philosophy and in Ancient History and Modern Jewish History at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München with a thesis on Walter Benjamin’s concept of space. He earned his Ph.D. from Humboldt University in Berlin with a dissertation titled “Love’s Hidden Revolution: Kierkegaard’s Critique of Power, Equality, and Community” in November 2024 (supervisors: Prof. Dr. Ugo Perone, Prof. Dr. Daniel Weidner). He taught at the Faculty of Theology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Summer Semester 2023) and was a visiting scholar at the Chair of Comparative Religion and Intercultural Theology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Apr. 2025–Mar. 2026), as well as at the Søren Kierkegaard Research Centre at the University of Copenhagen (Summer Semester 2018). He is currently developing a postdoctoral project on Jewish engagements with political theology.
